I know, I know, it's a little late for a Christmas gift list BUT I figured this could serve as last minute inspiration for those of you that have been too busy (ahem PROCRASTINATORS!) to get all your Christmas gifts.  Don't worry, I totally understand. I don't hate the playa, I hate the game. It's a crazy world out there during Christmas shopping season. Here's a quick batch of ideas for ya that are geared with moms in mind.  I think moms both young and old would be feelin most of the gift ideas on here.  This list also spans all kinds of price-ranges with some items starting at only $10! If you're a baller, I threw on a devine Lindsey Thornburg Cloak that I would give one of my children to own. Just kidding. Sorta. Well maybe loan them, for like a day?

Here are two quick holiday DIY's for you with minimal instructions, no lists and not a whole lotta talking because I like my DIY's like I like everything in life - short, too the point and pretty. Anyways, I was on the lookout for some new ornament ideas to make for my fam and whipped these two up real quick that I wanted to share. First is a salt dough ornament. Ok nothing new.  We all know about salt dough and how to make it (I do 1 cup flour to 1/2 cup salt and 1/2 cup water).  However, I went an extra few steps this year and spray painted them gold (BAH-LING!) and added a beautiful double-sided satin ribbon to them.  "OOOO SHINNY!" - in the words of my two year old.

Next up, I pulled out my son's school pictures.  I HAD to use these photos for something because I mean c'mon!!! Look at that guy! Look at that smile! Usually when I ask him to smile for a picture he gives the creepiest smile with crazy eyes. I mean seriously crazy eyes that only a mother could love.  When these gems arrived home from school I was blown away and am thinking about tracking down the photographic genius that was able to pull this off so that he/she can photography every important moment in his life going forward.... Anyways, to make these, I cut out his picture, traced it onto some foam board and then used my craft knife to cut out the foam board.  I just glued the two together with ribbon in between. BAM. Done.
